The Greatest Show on Earth
Last Tuesday, Miss Mouse had her first experience with a circus. She absolutely loved it! Great Grandpa N joined us as well as Auntie Laura, Grandpa Bob, and Grammy. We saw lots of people that we know there, and Miss Mouse really surprised Great Grandpa by making it through the whole circus! She was pretty tired, and he predicted we wouldn't see much of the show. Well, we saw the whole show, and the Mouse was not scared of a thing (yet, I suppose - that could come later). She would have run right up to the elephants and camels if given half a chance. She really enjoyed the animal acts and the tightrope/swinging performers. It was neat to think that circuses have been entertaining crowds for so many years - prior to cell phones, ipods, cd players, dvds, big screen movies, etc. - and that there was still a full house for the performance we attended. Even though it wasn't a show full of technology - it relied instead on human and animal abilities - kids and adults alike enjoyed it. What a special experience to share with four generations of Miss Mouse's family together! Pictures will be coming later.

Thanks for the entry. Dad told me how good she was at the circus; he was as pleased as he could be to watch Miss Mouse at her first circus! Love, Auntie Linda
